GAMO GX PCP Air Rifle Kit
£672.00
£500.00
Welcome to the 7th iteration of the GX Kit!
At Vector Air, we first introduced the GX kit in 2019 where over the past few years it has been imitated but never surpassed, setting a benchmark in quality and innovation. In response to rising costs, we’ve redeveloped the kit to make an entry-level variant more affordable for beginner shooters, while maintaining our high standards for kit guns. We have included a better silencer and of course a better optic, this time with a choice of scope.
The core of the kit now features the GX250, boasting a larger shot count over its predecessor without sacrificing price. This is because we have stripped the GX250 Kit that gamo supply of the less desirable items to save you money whilst also substituting them with more premium accessories for those looking for something a bit more special.

A great budget-friendly choice.
- Vector Optics Orion MAX Lanthanum Lens 4-16x44 SFP Scope (SCOL-62): Featuring a 30mm tube for higher light transmission, this scope uses Lanthanum Lens Technology for superior clarity and accuracy. The MilDot reticle is perfect for target shooting from 10-30m or pest control up to 40m.
- Vector Optics Orion MAX Lanthanum Lens 6-24x50 SFP Scope (SCOL-63): Designed for long-range shooting, this scope offers a 6-24x zoom and a 50mm objective lens for better efficiency at longer distances. Ideal for target shooting between 15-40m and situations requiring precise hold-over calculations.
- Vector Optics Orion MAX Lanthanum Lens 3-18x44 FFP Scope (SCFF-49): A high end versatile scope for mid to long-range shooting, featuring a first focal plane (FFP) VOR-4 MIL reticle with central dot illumination the reticle subtensions stay the same throughout the zoom range making range compensations far easier regardless of zoom unlike SFP scopes. Perfect for those who need a hybrid scope for both target and pest control.
We recommend purchasing an Eagle Vision 170mm x 13mm Rail Adapter for use with this rifle - If purchased with this kit as a set, please leave a note in the checkout and we will also swap the scope mounts to suit else we will supply with dovetail mounts instead of the Picatinny mounts you need with this rail.

Time to add filling equipment If you already have the means to fill this gun to 230BAR then you are sorted. This can be a PCP Pump, a DIN Valved Dive Tank or a Devoted PCP Compressor. No your tyre pump/shop compressor will not work - Click Here to See Why
If you don't have the means to fill your new gun you will need one of the following:
- Hand Pump (option): This manual pump uses your mechanical strength to compress air and pump it into the gun. This is ideal for those who are looking for a budget short-term option who don't require fast re-fills when topping up their PCP Airgun
- Dive Tank (Separate): This is the best value option for shooters as it means you can get 50-150 shots per litre before then refilling your tank at your local RFD or Gun Range - This option is better for those looking for a faster and longer-term method of filling your gun - Please note that the Tanks have a Test period on them (typically 5 years from the date stamped)

Please note that the GX250 option does not come with the factory standard extras (scope & silencer - sold bare thread). These are swapped for the items listed in the kit. If you would prefer the factory kit you can buy the GAMO 250 OE Kit here

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the gun come set up?
No - We tend to discourage the setting up of guns for 2 main reasons:
- You need to learn how to set up an airgun to your requirements, having this done for you tends to breed poor gun safety and use culture. If we do set a gun up you are likely to need to change it anyway, as everyone's style of shooting is their own and this dictates such things as scope placement
- Transporting a gun with its scope on raises challenges, more often the gun does not fit in the original box with it on. If it is put into the gun bag and transported the gun bag will appear used or could be damaged by couriers.
Can I upgrade or change the elements of the kit?
Occasionally we will change the contents of the kit to suit the landscape of the trade. If there is an option you are looking for we can price for an upgrade. However, it may not appear correct, this is because when we price kits, we choose where we can reduce the price of the individual items to total the price of the kit.
Do I need filling equipment or can I use other methods?
The short answer to this is yes you need filling equipment. Over the course of our time in the industry, we have only seen one new PCP shooter with the correct pre-existing means to fill a PCP airgun. So we can 99% guarantee you need filling equipment if you don't already have PCP airguns or borrow it from someone who does
Important Notice
Important Notice for the Purchase and Delivery of Airguns, Pressure Components of Airguns, and Moderators
Effective Compliance with the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (VCRA): Sections 31 and 32
Under the provisions of Sections 31 and 32 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, which were enacted through "The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures," specific regulations now apply to air weapons, their Pressure-Bearing component parts, and certain accessories.
Key Points to Note:
Restricted Items:
- Airguns: All airguns are classified as restricted items.
- Pressure-Bearing Parts of Airguns: This includes barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
- Functional Moderators (Silencers/Suppressors): Moderators that reduce the sound of discharge are also classified as restricted items.
Definition and Registration:
- Component Parts: While the VCRA does not explicitly define "component parts," the Home Office interprets this to include pressure-bearing parts such as barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
- Accessories: Only moderators (silencers) require registration by dealers.
Legal Requirements for Transfer:
- In-Person Transfer: It is an offence under the VCRA to transfer these restricted items through standard postal systems or to the end customer directly without the presence of both the buyer and either the seller or a representative of the seller.
- Representatives of the Seller: This can be:
- An employee of the seller who is a registered firearms dealer (RFD).
- Another RFD authorized by the seller.
- An employee of the authorized RFD.
Collection and Delivery Options:
- Collection from Store: Customers are encouraged to collect their restricted items directly from the store where purchased.
- Transfer to Another RFD: Items can be transferred to a local RFD for collection, though the receiving RFD may charge a fee for this service.
- Home Delivery: We offer home delivery through our in-house team to some areas of the UK. However, please note that this service has location restrictions and incurs higher costs due to the need for dedicated transport, making it more expensive than a standard RFD transfer.
