Airgun Technology (AGT) URAGAN 2 - Precision and Consistency for Serious Shooters

The AGT URAGAN 2 is a top-tier air rifle engineered for shooters who demand pinpoint accuracy and unmatched consistency. Designed from the ground up by Airgun Technology, the URAGAN (Slavic word for Hurricane) is crafted to prioritize precise shot placement, making it the ideal choice for serious target shooters and long-range enthusiasts.

Key Features:

  • Innovative Balance Valve System: At the heart of the URAGAN 2’s performance is its unique balance valve system. By utilizing backflow pressure to quickly shut the valve, this system allows for tight air regulation that functions almost like a secondary regulator. The result? Sub-2 m/s shot variation for incredible consistency, making it easier to hit tight groups even during extended shooting sessions.

  • Bullpup Design: Unlike other air rifles that are converted into bullpups, the URAGAN 2 is purpose-built from the ground up as a bullpup. This design minimizes many of the typical disadvantages of traditional bullpup air rifles, such as poor trigger responsiveness. The shortened overall length improves maneuverability and handling, without sacrificing accuracy, making it an excellent choice for dynamic shooting environments.

  • Lightweight, Corrosion-Resistant Construction: With its high-grade alloy construction and 300 BAR carbon fiber bottle, the URAGAN 2 offers not only a lighter frame but also enhanced durability against corrosion. This ensures the rifle is as reliable as it is accurate, providing you with a long-lasting, high-performing airgun that you can depend on.

  • Extensive Mounting Options: The rifle comes equipped with a 200mm 20 MOA Picatinny rail, giving you ample space for mounting a variety of optics—from long-range scopes to compact prismatic sights. Additionally, a 60mm Picatinny accessory rail attached to the bottle cage offers a convenient spot for mounting bipods or other accessories.

  • Ambidextrous Design: The URAGAN 2 is fully ambidextrous, featuring a configurable cocking lever for left or right-hand use and a sliding ambidextrous safety. This makes it adaptable for all shooters, regardless of their dominant hand.

Under the provisions of Sections 31 and 32 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, which were enacted through "The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures," specific regulations now apply to air weapons, their Pressure-Bearing component parts, and certain accessories.

Key Points to Note:

Restricted Items:

  • Airguns: All airguns are classified as restricted items.
  • Pressure-Bearing Parts of Airguns: This includes barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
  • Functional Moderators (Silencers/Suppressors): Moderators that reduce the sound of discharge are also classified as restricted items.

Definition and Registration:

  • Component Parts: While the VCRA does not explicitly define "component parts," the Home Office interprets this to include pressure-bearing parts such as barrels, cylinders, reservoirs, and pistons.
  • Accessories: Only moderators (silencers) require registration by dealers.

Legal Requirements for Transfer:

  • In-Person Transfer: It is an offence under the VCRA to transfer these restricted items through standard postal systems or to the end customer directly without the presence of both the buyer and either the seller or a representative of the seller.
  • Representatives of the Seller: This can be:
  1. An employee of the seller who is a registered firearms dealer (RFD).

Collection and Delivery Options:

  • Collection from Store: Customers are encouraged to collect their restricted items directly from the store where purchased.
  • Transfer to Another RFD: Items can be transferred to a local RFD for collection, though the receiving RFD may charge a fee for this service.
  • Home Delivery: We offer home delivery through our in-house team to some areas of the UK. However, please note that this service has location restrictions and incurs higher costs due to the need for dedicated transport, making it more expensive than a standard RFD transfer.
