Staff Picks for July

Staff Picks - AGT and Optics?

Alright, I know this looks planned; however, I can guarantee you 2 things:

1. None of our staff are coached into their choices with only Luke knowing each choice as they make it.

2. Should anyone choose the same item, they are asked for their second option.

With that in mind, the fact that two different shooters chose one particular item is impressive, and then again with one of those two choosing the same brand as another for their backup choice!

Craig's Pick: Airgun Technology (AGT) MANUL PCP Battleship Grey Air Pistol

Craig was going to choose the same option Karl did, however of course as above that wouldn't make much sense to have both choose the same item, so after this weekend where we shot this gun; Craig has instead changed his monthly pick to this little beast. The Manul is the newest lineup from the prestigious Airgun Technology brand and is their first pistol. Now if you are like Craig and like the look of this thing, unfortunately, they all sold in the same week! So get your back-in-stock requests in as it is first come first serve on these hot pistols! Tee's Pick: Airgun Technology (AGT) Vixen (Short) Ultra Lightweight Target PCP Air Rifle

So the purpose of this segment has always been to show you the customers what we would buy with our own money (if we had any). So what better argument to buy something than our own Tee trading in her faithful Brocock Sniper HR for the gun she has had eyes on for a while. The AGT Vixen and after a few shoots both on the range and as a pest controller, she is more than pleased with the results. Read the vixens features here

Luke's Pick: Vector Optics Orion MAX Lanthanum Lens 3-18x44 FFP Scope (SCFF-49)

As the resident gadget guy, Luke's choice this month is a bit of a deviation from the norm with an optic, nothing fancy just a great hybrid scope. Those who appreciate the world of optics will love the clarity and thanks to those lanthanum lenses a great zoom range to boot. Karl's Pick: DNT Optics Zulus HD 3-12x Night Vision with LRF & Ballistics by Arken Optics

After being quite hesitant about the new boy on the block, the Zulus (originally sold by Arken and have now been split into the Arken sub-brand; DNT) has now wormed its way into Karl's heart. The addition of a ballistic calculator and a pretty damn good optic at this price point is hard to ignore. Find out more.
