IWA 2025 - Organising the Chaos

Writer: Vector AirVector Air

Updated: Mar 4

Every year, IWA is big, loud, and full of amazing products. The effort that goes into making the show happen is huge, and we respect that. But from the outside looking in, it could be easier to navigate.

  • Why is there no centralised list of all new products?

  • Why do we have to rely on booth brochures, word-of-mouth, and manufacturer whispers to find out what’s actually new?

  • Why is it so hard to tell what’s genuinely fresh versus last year’s leftovers?

We’re not pointing fingers, but if there was a properly maintained database of what’s being launched—clearly split between firearms, airguns, and airsoft—it would make things a whole lot simpler and manufacturers/suppliers could get traffic driven to the correct place with the IWA website as a source of information.

Contrary to popular belief, manufacturers don’t really tell us anything in advance either. Most of what we find out is thanks to people actually attending the show, hunting down reps, and asking the right questions. So, here’s what we’ve found that is actually worth talking about from IWA 2025.

Products We Are Primary Importers For

Airgun Technology – VIXEN 2

Black rifle 3D render with a tactical design and suppressor against a light gray background, showcasing a sleek and modern appearance.

AGT’s Vixen Enhanced barely had time to settle before they hit us with the Vixen 2, bringing some key upgrades:

New bottle stock design for better rigidity

ARCA rail for improved Tripod Fitment for better stability

Extended Picatinny rail for more mounting options

Upgraded shroud with a 14mm CW thread for AGT silencers

The big question—have they changed the internals?

The original Vixen’s efficiency at sub-12 ft/lbs was fantastic, so hopefully, they haven’t messed with success.

💰 Estimated RRP: £1550 (Standard) / £1650 (Long)

KalibrGun – Cricket 3

Person holds a black air rifle on a table. Background shows a dog and cardboard boxes. Calm setting with neutral colors.

The original bullpup airgun has been re-engineered! KalibrGun is bringing the Cricket 3, and while details remain largely conceptual, early information suggests:

🔹 A full synthetic/metal build (Finally! Praise the airgun gods!)

🔹 A possible choice between the rotary magazine system (as seen on the original Cricket) and the simpler SNIPE magazine system

The design suggests an aluminium superstructure for added strength and a built-in rail system. If KalibrGun plays this right, they could be onto a serious winner.

💰 Estimated RRP: £1600–£2000

Other Notable Airgun Announcements

FX Airguns – Leopard

Another year, another FX —the Leopard, a high-power bullpup designed for the FAC market. While details are still emerging, this doesn’t seem to be a replacement for the likes of the Wildcat or the Maverick that it resembles the most, both of which are a great choice for Sub-16 Joule Airguns.

Zbroia – Tactical Airguns Incoming?

Zbroia has always delivered excellent accuracy, build quality, and performance at a fair price—something the UK market ignored before the previous importer disappeared.

When their guns were available, they were priced just right—a balance of affordability and performance, much like our favourite budget-friendly bullpup, the Reign M2.

But in a market where people keep buying questionable gear, and then complain when it doesn’t work, brands like Zbroia often get overlooked. If they return to the UK, it’s time to take them seriously.

Umarex – Stepping Up?

We love Umarex—seriously. The Reign M2 is one of our favourite PCPs. But recently, it’s felt like they’ve been a step behind.

This year, though? They’re listening. Their partnership with Snowpeak (SPA) is evolving into something UK shooters should be watching.

UX Zelos – A Compact Bullpup That Makes Sense

A lightweight, pest-orientated PCP bullpup designed for recreational and sport shooting.

🔹 24-round rotary magazine positioned at the cheek rest

🔹 CNC-machined aluminium body for strength

🔹 Rifled barrel with 1/2“-20 UNF muzzle thread (thank god—no proprietary nonsense!)

🔹 Integrated PCP tank (250 BAR max) with regulator & pressure gauge

🔹 Adjustable two-stage trigger

🔹 Picatinny rail for scopes

It’s rugged, practical, and finally has the features we want, could this be a low-cost hero?

UX Notos – A Rapid Fire PCP Carbine

Designed for plinking, sports, and even semi-serious target shooting, the Notos brings:

🔹 CNC-machined aluminium receiver

🔹 Rifled barrel with an integrated suppressor (Is it removable? No clue yet; we hope so.)

🔹 Straight-pull action

🔹 Integrated PCP tank (250 BAR max) with a quick-fill port

🔹 Adjustable two-stage trigger

🔹 Picatinny top rail

🔹 Rotary magazine (PP750 compatible? No idea yet)

🔹 Single-shot tray (for better accuracy!)

It also comes bundled with a 3-9x40 illuminated scope (red/green) and a foldable telescopic bipod. But let’s be honest—you’ll be swapping those out immediately. However the rest of the gun looks pretty good, lets hope UMAREX are listening as they have listened so far.

UX SPA Expert

A CO2 target pistol based on the Snowpeak CP400, but with Picatinny rails instead of a useless dovetail. If you want an affordable 10m pistol, this is one to watch.

UX Synergis Elite

A mag-fed, underlever springer—a rare combination. Unlike break-barrels, this design minimizes point-of-impact shift, and, finally, a major manufacturer has opted for Picatinny rails for scope mounting.

Only downside? The bundled scope. While you might want to keep it at first, if it’s a wire-reticle scope, expect to swap it out soon—spring guns tend to shake those apart.

UX Strike Force

A tactical AR-style CO2 rifle that finally fixes the choices of the HK416 CO2 from last year. Features include:

🔹 M-LOK handguard & QD mounts

🔹 Picatinny top rail for optics

🔹 30-round CO2 mag

🔹 Proper ambidextrous controls

Of course, before you ask—full-auto is a no-go in the UK.

T4E TC68 – The First Mag-Fed .68 Carbine

Launched at IWA but previewed at BSS, the TC68 is a mag-fed .68 calibre training gun with multiple power options from various sized CO2 right up to an optional HPA tank! If you saw it at BSS, you were among the first in the world to see this awesome-looking thing on display. We are hopefully going to be the first in the UK to get a few of these to take a look at!

MOS Pistol Upgrades

UMAREX are planning to update some of their CO2 airgun and airsoft pistols to support MOS plates for red dots—a welcome move!

Airsoft – Like It or Not, It’s Part of the Industry

Some of you paper punchers don’t want to acknowledge it, but airguns and airsoft go hand in hand when it comes to development. Many of the biggest airgun innovations have roots in airsoft tech, and plenty of airsoft brands are now making serious airgun accessories.

You don’t have to like it—but it’s time to stop pretending they’re separate worlds.

Vorsk VMP-2 multi-role carbine – Pre-Orders Only for Now

A select-fire (semi and full auto) gas powered Long / DMR rifle that blends Ruger 10/22 Tactical and CZ512 styling with an insane aftermarket parts potential.

⚠️ Pre-orders will be done individually—we don’t have the space to stock an entirely new range, but if you’re quick, we can get them in.

We’d love to stock the full Vorsk VM range, but realistically? We don’t have the space. Instead, we’ll be offering pre-orders on an individual basis—so if you want one, be quick and drop us a message.

ASG FLCN 5.56 AEG – A Fresh Take on the AR Platform

  • Mixes elements of the Bren, SCAR, and EVO for a distinctive look.

  • Features M-LOK, an ambidextrous design, and a folding/collapsible stock.

  • Electronic trigger with battery monitoring and quick-change spring.

  • Ships with an M95 spring (for CQB), but includes an M120 spring for outdoor play.

S&T SVT & SKS AEGs

For all you Escape From Tarkov fans—S&T is bringing out AEG versions of the SVT and SKS. If you’re into historical replicas, reenactment, or just want a badass rifle, these could be worth grabbing. UKARA required.

Final Thoughts – What’s Caught Your Eye?

IWA 2025 has been a mix of surprises and expected releases. Umarex, AGT, and KalibrGun are stepping up, while Airsoft is seeing some strong new products.

What’s caught your eye? Have we missed anything? Let us know! 🚀

To Manufacturers & Suppliers – If We’ve Missed You, Let’s Fix That!

If you’re reading this thinking, “Where’s our product?”—we’re happy to give you free publicity. Just send us the details and some images, and we’ll get it in front of the right audience.

But let’s be clear: we’re honest. We’re not here to rip you apart, nor are we here to blow smoke up your arse. If we’ve pointed out issues, now is your time to change something.

If you ignore the comments of the masses, someone else will listen—and when they do, it’s their product that’ll take the spotlight, not yours. Look at companies like Eagle Vision—they exist because traditional manufacturers refused to evolve. If you won’t adapt, the market will find a way around you.

We love this industry and want to see it thrive. If your retailers aren’t excited about your product, they’ll never sell it properly. Fix it now—before the customers do it for you.

So, if you’re launching something new, get in touch—before we have to dig through Instagram posts to find out about it!
