There may be a slight error in your post as the Veyron does not come in a 3-16, it is a 3-12 or a 4-16 mag range
So the differences are the following:
- Magnification: if you go with the 3-12 Veyron it is a lower magnification than the Hugo
- Tube size: Veyron is the better 30mm tube as opposed to the Hugo's 1" (wider tube means more light transmission)
- Light transmission: as above, Veyron works better in lowe light levels
- Length: Veyron is a compact scope
- Weight: Veyron is lighter weight
